Songs For Mr. Lewis Week, Day 4: Cranes - "Jewel"
Cranes - "Jewel": "There's something disturbing about listening to a song that sounds like it's being sung by a four year old being possessed by the spirit of an adult. It may walk a tightrope between creepy and pretty, but it winds up being more listenable than you would expect from this description.
(Well, they sometimes tip the scale over to creepy - check out "Lilies" - 'Goodbye, goodbye / I'll miss you!'.)"

Now see...I actually like SOME Cranes stuff. The EPs were great.
This is why I hesitated to use them for a post - I figured they sounded messed up, so you'd like them - but I thought her baby girl voice might send you over the edge anyway - which is why it made the post.
If only the Dedicated albums were up on Rhap, then there might actually be an argument to be made.
I'm sure you have better things to do, but can't you go and re-license those releases?
Thanks :)
