Failure - "Undone"

Failure - "Undone": "In honor of the surprise of seeing one of my coworkers wear a Failure shirt to work this morning*, I present one of this underappreciated L.A. band's crunchy, yet hooky and melodic rock songs.

* - because I swear no one outside of Southern California knows them, which is sad. People need to learn to love Failure! They also have one of the best music videos I've ever seen - "Stuck On You", which does the James Bond opening movie credits better than Bond - but the quality of the versions on YouTube are too grainy for me to link to. It kind of ruins the video, so - instead, you can order it here."

Oh NO YOU DIDN'T. You know how crazy you drove me with this song... aahhhhhh!

On a side note, i played Autolux this past weekend. Would be nice to see a new record soon from them.

"Stuck On You" is awesome, I can't remember how it was that I burnt you out on it? Was it when I was making my Ken Andrews compilation CDs?

Autolux is totally due in for a record, but I have no idea what they're up to. In the meantime, check out the Silversun Pickups album - not quite the same, but somewhat in the same vein.

No I think it was your holiday CD that year, because I recall you included the video component-because you liked the 007-ish video.

Someone else told me about Silverspun as well.

Doing AlternaRAWK this weekend... i need to rock out, been putting myself to sleep on my own show!

BTW, you need Local H 'Here Comes The Zoo" in Rhap.

Oh, I know what it was, it was when I got that Failure CD/DVD that included the "Stuck On You" video - which I had never seen before, so it was new to me. And I loved it. And had to watch it often. It wasn't included on my holiday CD, however.
