Idlewild - "Love Steals Us From Loneliness": "I need to apologize for being a neglectful blogger - this last Tuesday (11.1.11) was the 6th anniversary of my Song of The Day blog, which had already passed 1,000 posts this September. I was going to do a song blowout this week, but I got too busy with work. It made me question if I should just put the blog on hiatus at this point, but at the end of the day - even if I may go too long between posts - I need this outlet to share music with folks I too often don't get to otherwise, so I'm not giving it up. Please enjoy this Idlewild song for the occasion instead - it has a birthday reference, a bit of melancholy that reflects my disappointment at missing my own anniversary of sorts, and a it's great song in sum, as always."
